The engine 2 diet is a diet that was created by a firefighter in Austin, Texas named Rip Esselstyn. After finding out several of his fellow firefighters had dangerously high cholesterol levels Rip a former professional athlete took action and came up with a diet plan for the entire firehouse.
By following Rip's plan everybody in the firehouse lost weight ( some lost more then 20 pounds) and lowered there cholesterol. it worked so well everybody convinced him to write a book so the whole population could benefit from this amazing diet plan.
His plant-powered eating plan is based on a diet of whole foods, including vegetables, whole grains, fruit, legumes, seeds and nuts.
